FlintHills FolkLife Festival
Cottonwood Falls, Kansas

Saturday, June 14, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, & Sunday, June 15th, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the "T" building at Swope Park, Cottonwood Falls. Note: the festival location is temporarily changed this year because of the CourtHouse Renovation currently in progress. 

Historical Presenters in period dress demonstrate the skills necessary for pioneers to live and work in the mid-1800s. Items produced at the festival will be for sale

Historic Presenters in previous years have included, BasketMaking, SoapMaking, a BlackSmith, HandCarving, Primitive Handmade Furniture, QuiltMaking, a ZitherPlayer, NaturalHerbs, Homemade RootBeer, RopeMaking, KettleCorn, PotteryMaking, Weaving, Calligraphy, Abraham Lincoln, and Live Music.

The TallGrass Pickers will gather to jam at the Emma Chase Cafe on Broadway at 7:30 Saturday evening. Plan to join us to listen - or participate. Bring lawn chairs.

There is no admission charge to the grounds.
